heat pump draws heat from the air and moves it from one place to another – into
or outside your home. It uses electricity, liquid refrigerant, and copper to
pull heat out of your home in the summer while returning cooled air back into
your home. And on cooler days, when you need heat, it pulls heat into your
home. Moving heat that already exists is more efficient than creating heat, as
other types of systems do.
