I am grateful to have found Republic A/C and Plumbing out of Red Oak. My previous A/C company just wanted to sell me a new A/C system but Republic was able to repair it and then completely serviced it to help it last longer. Instead of spending $8,000 I only spent $650 and my A/C will last me 4-5 more years.
 
Now I will see Republic every year to have my A/C and heater serviced and will refer them to anyone and everyone I know. Thanks again Republic!

Testament to excellence
 
As a General Contractor, I have experienced many situations in the field of construction, but not too many as gratifying as the one I would like to share with whomever.
 
After years of patching my furnaces and condensing units with band-aids and preventive maintenance, I was thoroughly disgusted. Not only where my units outdated and inefficient, my electric bills were out of control.
 
I finally decided after discovering that my units would not comply with industry standards and
could not be serviced. I contacted a local HVAC contractor and discussed some alternatives.
 
The contractor was Republic Heat and Air. The owner of the company met with me at my place of business and covered all my options to maximize my needs both conservation of energy and dollar for dollar value.
 
After Mr. Orr explained to me about how efficient a higher seer unit would be my particular choice was (3) complete Mitsubishi Mini Split systems and (1) separate 2-ton RUUD unit for auxiliary space.
 
We commenced work on April 9th, 2015 tearing out my 20-year-old units and ductwork to create space for new installation. I was fortunate enough to witness the transformation. Not only were they organized and proficient, they were spotless with demolition and installation of new product. On April 10th they installed the rest of the equipment and finished the second day.
 
I hope at this point I have not been too verbose, but I am writing this testament three months after the install by Republic Heat and Air. Since then I have had nothing but comfort and compliments. My electric bills are averaging 30% less and I feel like I’m operating in a new building. In closing, I would like to say I made my choices based on long-term investment and reliability of product line. I cannot explain to you how satisfied I am with Republic Heat and Air and its employees and customer service.

On August 21, 2012, you and your new crew replaced the ductwork, controls, ect for our five-ton HVAC system. On August 22, 2012, the City of Richardson inspected your work for compliance.
 
The inspector was amazed at the high degree of quality workmanship. He said to my wife he does not see this level of quality workmanship in renovations or even new construction. He specifically mentioned the ties you used in the work and everything being tightened down as you would expect. He stated he does this every day and usually has to red flag the work at least once. He was truly delighted to see the quality of your work in our home.
 
I wish to thank you for correcting our HVAC system, which three other firms could not accomplish. It is a pleasure to have become acquainted with you and your firm and we look forward to a long relationship in the future.
